iPhone X vs Samsung Galaxy S9

When someone tells you to name something that you can’t live without, the first answer that most guys usually give is “My phone!”  I don’t know about you but this is kinda true for me hehe.

A constant battle that has always been there is between iPhone and Samsung users. Each group always claims that their preferred brand is the bomb.com. Let’s do a bit of digging. Shall we?

A lot of young guys are very much into the music culture and a lot of us store all our favourite music in our phones or iPods so that whenever we have some free time on our hands, we can quickly pull out our earphones or headphones and get in our zone. As I was busy surfing the net the other day, I came across some key comparisons between iPhone X and the yet to be released Samsung S9. I was a bit surprised to find out that the iPhone X doesn’t have a headphone jack, meaning, you can’t use the normal headphones or earphones. You have to use wireless Bluetooth headphones. Samsung S9 on the other hand has maintained the headphone jack. Maayynnee issa tricky situation!

Normally when I’m buying a phone, one of the key things I look out for is the storage space. If it’s not satisfactory, I usually check to see whether I can insert an SD card to make the capacity bigger. The new Samsung S9 comes with an internal storage of either 64, 128 or 256 GB and with a RAM of 4 GB. It also comes with a slot where you can insert your SD if need be. iPhone X on the other hand comes in either 64/256 GB with a RAM of 3 GB, and it has no slot for an SD card.

To get an iPhone X you’d have to part with a whooping KES 99,999. That’s basically KES 100,000. To get your hands on a Samsung S9, you need about KES 83,900. I mean both phones are pretty good, it just depends with the depth of your pocket.

I don’t know if it’s just me but I don’t like going to the loo without a Cosmo magazine or my phone because I shall be forced to read the ingredients on my air freshener bottle. To be honest, two out of my many stolen phones have at some point fell in the toilet. How, I don’t know. If you really hate this happening to you, I think you should consider getting yourself either the Samsung S9 or the IPhone X since they are both water proof.

Selfie lovers listen up! If you’re looking for a phone with the perfect camera, read on. For the iPhone X, the front camera has 7 MP while the back camera has 12 MP. For Samsung S9 the front camera has 8 MP while the back camera has 12 MP.

Given a chance, which one would you pick?

Informative article, could have used a summary table to sink in all that info.
